Vice President - Human Resources
Barbara is Summit’s Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, she directs all HR functions, including employee relations, staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, safety compliance, and conflict resolution for Summit’s corporate and regional offices.
With more than two decades of experience in human resources, Barbara has worked at a number of leading companies. She has held executive-level positions for medical device suppliers, executive search and consulting firms, and financial institutions. She has discussed her extensive experience as a Human Resources professional as speaker and presenter at various industry-related events.
Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Management & Communications at Adelphi University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the American Heart Association. She also serves as a Blood Drive Coordinator for Long Island Blood Services.
