Brendon P. McDonald, CPA, CGMA
Chief Financial Officer
Brendon P. McDonald, CPA, CGMA, serves as Summit’s Chief Financial Officer. He has twenty-one years of professional experience in finance and accounting, twelve with Summit. As Chief Financial Officer, Brendon is responsible for the entire accounting, finance, financial reporting, procurement, treasury, risk management, pricing/contracts and real estate functions of the organization. He ensures compliance with financial laws and regulations; and develops best-practice financial policies and procedures.
Brendon’s professional experience prior to Summit includes five years with a ‘Big-4’ public accounting firm, a financial management position for a Fortune 500 company, and a senior management position for a privately held firm.
Brendon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York, and he received Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) accreditation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Financial Executive Networking Group (FENG), and the Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.
