Vice President - Security Operations Center
John Liberti has over 10 years of security operations and information technology experience. As Vice President of the Security Operations Center, he is responsible for upgrading and administering the company’s state-of-the-art security operations center, including command operations, new security technologies, integrated functionalities, and client responsiveness.
He joined Summit in 2003 as a field supervisor and was quickly promoted to Operations Manager of Summit’s Long Island Regional Office. Later, he served as Summit’s Aviation Division Operations Manager at JFK International Airport and then as Summit Corporate Information Technology Specialist and IT Manager.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Security Systems Technology from SUNY at Farmingdale, as well as Associate’s degrees in Marketing and in Criminal Justice. He has received Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist and U.S. Department of Homeland Security Business Continuity and Operational Risk Assessment certifications.
He is a member of the Software Client Advisory Board for TEAM Software and a member of the SUNY Farmingdale College Foundation Board of Directors. He received the Richard N. Auletta Founder’s Award in 2017.
