Robert L. Auletta, CPP

Co-President

Robert L. Auletta joined Summit in 1989. He and his brother, Nicholas M. Auletta, assumed co-ownership of the company in 2006. Robert was a former law enforcement officer and is a Licensed Private Investigator and ASIS Certified Protection Professional. Under his leadership and that of his brother, Co-President Nicholas M. Auletta, Summit has expanded from a small, regional company to a premier U.S. security services company and one of the largest privately held firms of its kind.

As Co-President, Robert has evolved Summit to meet the needs of its clients and, in response to new challenges and opportunities, expanding its partnerships to include to Fortune 500 companies; international banks; insurance and financial services companies; worldwide media companies; prestigious universities; high-profile residential communities; respected law and accounting firms; technology firms; and public/government agencies.

A retired officer of New York’s Long Beach Police Department, Robert is active in the security and investigations communities, with memberships that include American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS); NYPD SHIELD; Nassau County PD Security Police Information Network; and National Association of Chiefs of Police. Robert also serves as a Regional Director with the Association of Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS).
