ALDONYS Recognizes Two Summit Security Officers
Recently, two Summit Security Officers, Victor Flores and Hassan Wallace, were recognized at the ALDONYS (Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State) Biennial Awards Dinner at the Manhattan Club for stopping a robbery and assisting a student at a New York City university. They received a monetary award and a plaque from the ALDONYS organization.
A student at one of Summit’s academic clients in New York City was exiting campus when he was physically assaulted by a stranger. The suspect attempted to steal the student’s bag. Officers Flores and Wallace witnessed the encounter and ran to the student to stop the robbery. They immediately called for backup and the assailant was apprehended. Because of their intervention, the student received no further injuries.
The two officers were recognized by Summit earlier last year and received Employee of the Month Awards. Details can be found here.
It’s our honor to have such quick-thinking, courageous security officers who are dedicated to the safety of those around them. Summit would like to personally thank Officers Victor Flores and Hassan Wallace once again for their hard work. They serve as a standard for all Summit security officers.
