Summit Security Officer Manjit Kainth has been recognized for outstanding performance at JFK International Airport. Kainth, who is assigned to the JetBlue Terminal, observed an unauthorized individual improperly accessing a secure area. She immediately notified her supervisor and authorities. Kainth continued to observe the individual and report his location and actions to her supervisor and Summit’s Security Operations Center (SOC) while waiting for authorities to arrive and apprehend the individual.

For her vigilance, Kainth received Summit’s Richard N. Auletta Founder’s Award. This award commemorates the life and service of Summit’s founder, the late Richard N. Auletta, and is given to employees who exceed the scope of their duties and responsibilities by demonstrating extraordinary effort and exceptional service to the company. She also received a $1,000 award from JFK’s Airport Community Watch.

Summit congratulates Kainth for her dedication and service.
